This page describes how the Marnewick Family Archive collects, uses and protects information about family members.

Information about living family members

Living family members are private by default. Public visitors cannot see full birth dates, contact details, addresses or other identifying information about living people.

What we never collect

We do not collect national identity numbers, residential addresses, or private phone numbers for display on family profiles.

Minors

Information about children is restricted. Parents or guardians control what is shown about minors.

Requesting corrections or removal

Approved members can request correction, restriction or removal of their personal information at any time from within the private archive.

Row-level protection

Access is enforced at the database level, not only in the interface. Fields marked as administrator-only are never exposed through the public site.
